The 2026 Secretariat.

The small executive team turning HTSMUN VI from an idea into a conference — led by our Secretary-General.

Letter from the Secretary-General

To our delegates,

A conference like this one starts long before December. It starts in an empty classroom after school, with a small team and a long list of things we’d loved about past conferences, the things we’d quietly wished were different, and the things no one had ever tried. HTSMUN VI is the result of working through that list, decision by decision.

Everything you’ll find on this site — the committees, the background guides, the schedule for the day — comes back to a single question this team keeps asking itself: does this serve the delegate in the room? We’d rather build fewer committees that argue than many that summarize, and we’d rather run a tighter day that respects your time than a sprawling one that doesn’t.

Every year, this conference asks us to imagine a better world — and then to debate it, line by line. That friction isn’t a flaw in the process. It is the process. We hope you arrive in December with strong opinions, and leave with better ones.

HTSMUN has always been a student conference, and HTSMUN VI is no exception. There is no professional staff behind it and no agency designing this site — just a Holy Trinity secretariat, the faculty advisors who supervise us, and a school community that hands us the keys for a single Saturday in December. The rest is on us, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

What we’re building, with all of that, is the conference we wanted to attend when we were in your shoes: substantive committees, sharp chairs, and a room full of delegates who came to argue about something they actually care about. You can meet the rest of the secretariat just below. Until then, we can’t wait to see what you bring on December 5.
